This little hole in the wall, just off Vancouver's trendiest shopping street, serves up the city's best fish and chips. On any given day you'll find West End residents, German tourists, and well-heeled shoppers toting their "daily catch" from Mexx or Banana Republic vying for counter space. There are only a few tables and a window-seat counter, plus three sidewalk tables (weather permitting), but the fish is always fresh and flaky and can be grilled if you prefer. Choose from sole, halibut, or cod, which may be combined with oysters or prawns, too. If you want to take home smoked salmon, the staff will wrap it up or ship it if you prefer.
