L'Opéra de Montréal

Founded in 1980, this outstanding opera company mounts six productions a year in Montréal, with artists from Québec and abroad participating in such shows as La Traviata, Carmen, Aida, Otello, and Mefistofele. Video translations are provided from the original languages into French and English. The box office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Performances are held from September to June in three theaters at Place des Arts and occasionally at other venues.
