Opening a new club amidst the tough competition on the super-trendy Main could be seen as a demonstration of overweening confidence. But still, they keep coming. One of several inaugurated in the last year or so, B'Bops is more than holding its own. The deejays do mixes of soul, house, and funk for the dancers. Furnishings on two floors are as sleek and contemporary as the good-looking crowd, most of them under 30 but with high school well behind them. The club is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
