NIGHTLIFE: THE PERFORMING ARTS Frommer
Grand Théâtre de Québec

Classical music concerts, opera, dance, jazz, blues, and theatrical productions are presented in two halls, one of them containing the largest stage in Canada. Visiting conductors, orchestras, and dance companies often perform here when resident organizations are away. The Trident Theatre troupe performs in French in the Salle Octave-Crémazie. L'Orchestre Symphonique de Québec performs here, as does the Québec Opéra. Québec's Conservatory of Music lies underneath the theater. The box office is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm.

269 bd. René-Lévesque Est.Phone: 418/643-8131.
