CURRENCY CONVERTER

This bistro welcomes late-night carousers and showbiz personalities looking for a meal after a performance. (Past aficionados have included the Rolling Stones, Prince, Dustin Hoffman, Johnny Hallyday, and French pop star Patrick Bruel.) The decor is authentically Art Deco, the ambience nurturing. Time-tested and savory menu items include a salad of warm goat cheese on toast, onion soup, pan-fried stingray with capers, Burgundy-style snails, country paté on a bed of onion marmalade, and a succulent version of the restaurant's namesake, chicken in a pot with slices of paté and fresh vegetables (in summer, it can be served cold, on a bed of lettuce, with vinaigrette sauce).

Main courses 19€-30€; prix fixe 28€.Open: Tues-Sun 7pm-5am.Reservations recommended.Credit Cards: MC, V.Métro: Louvre or Les Halles.
