CURRENCY CONVERTER

Evoking 1930s Hong Kong, this favorite is still going strong, still laughing at upstart new Asian restaurants, and still serving some of the best Asian cuisine, mainly Cantonese, in Paris. Before dinner you might want to enjoy a drink in the upstairs smoking lounge. Nearly everything is good, especially the sautéed shrimp and calamari, Shanghai chicken, and red rice sautéed with vegetables. The vast menu offers plenty of choices. Downstairs, the Sing Song club has live music, including something called Sino-French jazz, but only on Friday and Saturday (no cover).

Main courses 28€-32€; prix fixe 28€, prix fixe Sun 20€.Open: Sun-Thurs 7pm-2am; Fri-Sat 7pm-3am.Closed Aug.Credit Cards: AE, MC, V.Métro: Bastille or Ledru-Rollin.
