Little Angel Theatre

Puppetry in all its forms is presented at this charming small theater in Islington, north of the city. There are homegrown shows that tour nationally and internationally, as well as performances by a variety of visiting companies. The range of puppetry is wide, from marionettes (string puppets) to rod-and-glove puppets. Most of the work is targeted at children; age limits are stated for every show presented (for example, "no under-3s allowed"); grown-ups will enjoy them, too. There's a coffee bar and an adjacent workshop where the puppets, sets, and costumes are made. One show per season is adult-oriented. Call for information. The theater is accessible to people with disabilities.
