This epicenter for the fashionable 20s-to-30s set in London has put the P in partying in the once staid Clerkenwell district. Drinkers sit on elegant sofas or retreat to one of the cozy booths for a late snack. The bar claims to be the home of the Cosmopolitan cocktail, which swept across the drinking establishments of New York. The bartenders make some of the best drinks in London but warn you "there is no such thing as a chocolate martini."
