Housed in a cedar- and brass-trimmed room reminiscent of an old-fashioned yacht, this restaurant specializes in fresh local fish, four different preparations of lobster, and steaks. If you're fond of lobster, consider the curried version. Other seafood choices include grilled shrimp and blackened scallops, and Bermuda yellowfin tuna with salsa. New menu items include rack of lamb and a seafood casserole covered with mashed potatoes. Desserts are suitably caloric and include a choice of parfaits. During the off season, if business is slow, the place might close early, so call ahead to check if you're dining late. Port O'Call is more intimate and cozy than Primavera and Red Carpet , and we prefer it for that reason. The food is also slightly better.
Lunch main courses $11-$20; dinner main courses $16-$28.Open: Mon-Fri noon-2:30pm; daily 6-11pm.Reservations recommended at dinner.Credit Cards: AE, MC, V.Bus: 1, 2, 10, or 11.
