In a 150-year-old building, Red Carpet serves up Italian dishes despite its English pub-style ambience. This place does a thriving lunch business, thanks to the many offices nearby. After work, the dimly lit bar is a popular place for people to relax with a beer. Lunch offerings include sandwiches, cold platters, and a few hot dishes such as pan-fried fish (including Bermuda tuna and wahoo). Dinners feature a wider array -- veal scaloppine, veal Marsala, chicken cacciatore, filet mignon, New York strip sirloin, and a variety of pasta dishes. Primavera, Little Venice, and especially Tuscany serve better Italian food, but at slightly higher prices. What you get here is quite good, familiar fare.
