Can't face another meal of grilled fish or steak? The best Indian cuisine on the island might be just the thing to break up Bermuda's routine offerings. This third-floor hideaway serves expertly prepared authentic dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors from London or New York may be used to better Indian fare; but still, it's a nice change of pace. For lunch, the daily Bombay buffet includes a variety of dishes, from mulligatawny soup to chicken, beef, lamb, and seafood served with a choice of sauces, in spicy curry, or roasted in the tandoori oven. The Indian chefs will prepare your dishes with the mild, delicate tastes of coastal India if you prefer, but there are more fiery dishes for the brave. There are lots of vegetarian options, of course, and even a handful of Continental selections.
Fixed-price lunch $12; fixed-price dinner $20, $28, and $37.Open: Mon-Sat noon-2:30pm; 6-11pm.Reservations required.Credit Cards: AE, MC, V.Bus: 1, 2, 10, or 11.
