A pub-cum-restaurant, this eatery lies within the Clocktower Building at the historic Royal Dockyards. It's owned and operated by two Swiss chefs who feature a formal menu of beautifully presented and well-prepared dishes. There is al fresco dining in the courtyard. The setting is casual and intimate, and the restaurant is a good choice for meals throughout the day and evening. It even serves afternoon tea. A large lunch menu involves fish chowder, burgers, sandwiches such as Cajun steak, along with daily specials such as fiery jerk chicken, along with about 10 main courses, including the fish of the day or onion quiche with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. At night, the fare is more elaborate, with a fine selection of appetizers, including some especially savory tempura snails with a roasted garlic and teriyaki sauce. Well-crafted main courses that entice are corn-breaded Maryland crab cakes served on mesclun salad with balsamic dressing, and Oriental chicken in an Asian ginger wrap. Other good courses include lemon pepper tuna steak and spicy shrimp with a peanut sauce.
