Friendly captains offer glass-bottom snorkel cruises aboard an 18m (60-ft.) motorized catamaran. The design allows the boat to anchor in very shallow waters, which is ideal for novices or unsure swimmers. The cost -- around $45 for a 3 1/2-hour cruise -- includes free use of snorkeling equipment and the expertise of a crew that really knows the marine life of Bermuda's offshore reefs. There's a cash bar and a shower on board.
