Carole Holding is well known and well respected for her skill in what might be Bermuda's most-loved art form: watercolor painting. Many of Ms. Holding's works depict the peace and serenity of Bermuda's homes and gardens. Individuals commission a few of her works; more frequently, however, the subjects of her paintings come from her own imagination. Although other gift shops around the island carry Ms. Holding's works, most of them are in one of her shops. Her main store is now in the City of Hamilton (the St. George shop has been closed). She has another store at the Royal Naval Dockyard on Ireland Island.
