The headquarters for the CBC's English-language networks (including television and radio), this building was designed by Bregman + Hamann/Scott Associates, with John Burgee and Philip Johnson as consultants. It's one of the largest and most modern broadcasting facilities in North America. The tour, which includes a visit to the rooftop studios, is well worth the money, but you can also stop by to check out the CBC Museum (tel. 416/205-5574): It has a series of interactive exhibits and film clips showcasing the CBC's broadcast history; it's open weekdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from noon to 4pm; and it's free!
