This prestigious company, performing both a classical and a modern repertoire, has developed a following far beyond national borders over more than 35 years. In the process, it has brought prominence to many gifted Canadian choreographers and composers. It tours internationally and was the first Canadian ballet company to be invited to the People's Republic of China. The troupe's production of The Nutcracker during the last couple of weeks in December is always a big event in Montréal. The box office is open Monday to Saturday noon to 8pm. Performances are held late October to early May.
