Pollack Concert Hall

In a landmark building dating from 1899 and fronted by a statue of Queen Victoria, this hall is in nearly constant use, especially during the university year. Among the attractions are concerts and recitals by McGill students or professionals from McGill's music faculty. Recordings of some of the more memorable concerts are available on the university's own label, McGill Records. Box office hours are Monday to Friday noon to 6pm. Concerts are also given in the campus's smaller Redpath Hall, 3461 rue McTavish (tel. 514/398-4547). Performances are often free, but tickets for some events can cost up to C$22 (US$16).
