This place pretends to be a restaurant, but nothing about it persuades us that the owners had food service paramount in mind. There are, for starters, those tall, willowy waitresses in tube tops and bare midriffs. Then, the party atmosphere that envelops patrons as soon as they enter, including hard surfaces everywhere to permit the amplification of whatever sounds might be produced. Show up Thursday through Saturday after dinner and a DJ is working, spinning mostly rock-pop of the last couple of decades. Lunch and dinner are served, with menu items including fried calamari, pastas, and pizzas.
