Saddle Ranch Chophouse

Located on the Sunset Strip next to the Hyatt House, this country-and-western-themed restaurant and nightclub resembles a scene taken right from "Urban Cowboy," right down to the mechanical bull, sawdust on the floor and a major rock 'n' roll attitude. The Chophouse has a 60-foot circular bar where the bartenders do an outstanding job of getting your drinks to you even in the thickest of crowds. After 10pm it gets packed with mostly younger Hollywood hopefuls. Food is good, not great, but the portions are huge, with the standard fare of steaks, chops, and monstrous baked potatoes that are great for a late-night snack.
