Croce's Nightclubs

Croce's is the cornerstone of Gaslamp Quarter nightlife: a loud, crowded, and mainstream gathering place around the corner from Horton Plaza. Two separate clubs operate a couple doors apart: You'll find traditional jazz at Croce's Jazz Bar 7 nights a week (8:30pm-12:30am), and rhythm and blues at Croce's Top Hat Friday and Saturday (9pm-1am). The music blares onto the street, making it easy to decide whether to go in or not. The clubs are named for the late Jim Croce and are owned by his widow, Ingrid, who was a vital component of the Gaslamp's revitalization. Their son, A.J., an accomplished musician, often performs. The cover charge is waived if you eat at the restaurant
