New and currently very "in" among trendoids, the Beach is the rooftop bar of the W hotel. What makes it truly unique is that most of the floor is sand--you can take your shoes off (drinks are served in plastic) even in winter since the sand is heated. A gas fire pit adds to the ambience, as do the cabanas lining one wall. Don't forget your flip-flops, shovel, and pail. The hotel's two other bars, the Living Room and Magnet, are also smart.
