Julie's Supper Club
Julie's is a longtime standby for cocktails and late dining in a groovy setting. The vibe in both rooms is very 1950s cartoon, with a space-age Jetsons appeal and good-looking singles on the prowl. The food is hit-and-miss, but the atmosphere is definitely a winner--casual and playful and it comes with a little interesting history: This building is one location where the Symbionese Liberation Army held Patty Hearst hostage in the 1970s. Menu items range from $8 to $20.
