Before the recent 1940s trend hit the city, Deluxe and its fedora-wearing clientele had been celebrating the bygone era for years. Fortunately, even with all the retro hype, the vibe here hasn't changed. Expect an eclectic mix of throwbacks and generic San Franciscans in the intimate bar and adjoining lounge, and live jazz or blues most nights. Although many regulars dress the part, there's no attitude here, so come as you like.
