Among the popular attributes of this cruisey neighborhood bar are the outdoor patio, Sunday barbecue or buffet, and progressive music and videos. 49er fans also gather here for televised games. Decorated in a Southwestern theme ("down home in Arizona"), the bar attracts a mixed crowd of gays, lesbians (now that there are almost no exclusively lesbian bars left in San Francisco), and gay-friendly straights. There are "beer busts" or theme drink nights weekly. The nominal charge for barbecues and buffets is donated entirely to various AIDS organizations.
