Byers-Evans House

This elaborate Victorian home, built by Rocky Mountain News founding editor William Byers in 1883, has been restored to its appearance of 1912-24, when it was owned by William Gray Evans, son of Colorado's second territorial governor. Guided tours describe the architecture and explain the fascinating lives of these prominent Denver families. Admission to the house includes the renovated service wing and carriage house. There is a gift shop. Allow 45 minutes.
