The Mizel Center focuses on producing programming in the visual and performing arts, music, literary arts, and arts education for children and adults. It is a worthwhile stop for amateur artists and anyone interested in Jewish culture. The center displays traveling exhibitions of Jewish art and history, covering everything from the Jewish experience in pre-World War II Europe to the career of Allen Ginsberg. The facility includes a nice display of art in the Singer Gallery. The Mizel Museum of Judaica, which recently merged into the Mizel Center, offers numerous multicultural educational programs and tours; call for details. Allow 1 to 2 hours.
