SHOPPING: MALLS & SHOPPING CENTERS Frommer
The Prime Outlets at Castle Rock

This outlet mall between Denver and Colorado Springs, about 30 minutes south of Denver, has well over 100 stores, including Corning Revere, Levi's, Van Heusen, Calvin Klein, Eddie Bauer, Sony, Bass, Nike, Big Dog, Guess?, Athlete's Foot, Farberware, the Gap, and Toy Liquidators, plus a food court. Although many prices are the same as you'd find during a sale at your local mall or discount store, there's a nice selection and a few real bargains--especially on end-of-season items, irregulars, and reconditioned electronics. Camp Coleman has practically every camping supply you can imagine, all manufactured by the reliable Coleman company. Wheelchair and stroller rentals are available, and there's an information booth in the food court with maps of the outlet center. Open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

I-25 exit 184, Phone: 800/245-8351.
