A very minimalist dance club/lounge, Rain is a great night spot for many reasons. First and foremost, its location off the beachy path is ideal for those who insist on clubbing and driving. Ample parking in the area definitely makes up for the fact that you'll pay upwards of $9 for a cocktail. Second, the music's great. Local DJ Mark Leventhal's Tuesday night funkfest known as Home Cookin' is particularly fun and comes complete with a free barbecue. If you don't feel like dancing, outdoor and indoor lounging space is aplenty.
