This popular cafe and neighborhood bar is just a few blocks from Lake Eola in the center of downtown. The creative fare features such fun foods as crispy duck breast pan seared and glazed with bourbon and maple syrup (talk about a taste explosion); mahimahi wrapped in parchment paper with spinach, tomatoes, capers, garlic, onions, and olives, then baked and served with capellini; and white spinach lasagna that arrives with an herbed focaccia bread to sop up the tangy sauce. Many of the seats are stools at high tables; if that's not for you, you may have a long wait. This is an upbeat, noisy crowd filled with regulars. There's a modest wine list.

Main courses $5-$12 lunch ($5-$9 salads and sandwiches), $13-$19 dinner.Open: Mon-Sat 11am-midnight, Sun 5-10pm.Reservations not accepted.Credit Cards: AE, DC, DISC, MC, V.From I-4, take Exit 82C/Anderson St., go to Mills Ave. and take a left.
