Owner Robert Khankiew, who was a chef at several other local Thai restaurants, has been packing people in since he and his family opened the doors of this friendly restaurant. The dishes are authentic, the flavoring bold, and the dining room casual yet polished (tablecloths, soft lighting).
Start off with traditional basil rolls with plum sauce, or try the namsod--minced pork with chiles, ginger, onion, and lime juice, which you roll up in a cabbage leaf. The spicy basil lamb (charbroiled chops with mushroom and onions) is succulent and exceptional, and the curries are quite good. When in doubt, stick with the daily specials or the chef's special section of the menu; all are good bets. There is no children's menu, but the restaurant is very child-friendly. You're likely to wait if you arrive without a reservation on the weekend.
