Brick Store Pub
125 E. Court St
(On the square)
tel.: 404/687-0990
Location: On the square
Cuisine: Eclectic
Price Category: Moderate

On the square in Decatur, this pub has Olde World charm without being dark and gloomy. Featuring the most eclectic beer menu available in the Atlanta market, many patrons come here for the drink as much as for the equally diverse food. Starters include such treats as baked Brie or roasted red pepper hummus with warm pita points. Pierogi Primavera is another popular item, as are the potato wedge fries with lots of salt and vinegar. Each of the 16 draughts--from Germany, England and even the Czech Republic--is served in its own special glass. In addition, the 62 bottled beers might make it difficult for you to make a decision. Brick Store also offers 26 single malt scotches, 9 Irish whiskeys, and 8 small batch bourbons.

Choose to sit around the horseshoe bar for a real pub experience or at one of several tables outdoors. There are several great shops in the area for some before-or after-dinner shopping, as well as a coffee shop and a new ice cream shop.

Salads, sandwiches, and burgers $2.75-$6.25; dinner entrees $6-$8.Open: Monday 11am-1am; Tues-Sat 11am-2am; Sun 12-10pm.
