Masquerade

Popular with the college-age crowd, Masquerade is housed in a century-old stone-walled Romanesque building--a former factory. Its interior, divided into three main areas: Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory, are all appropriately decorated. Up in Heaven is a concert hall featuring live local and national acts. Call the hot line at tel. 404/577-2007 for information. Hell is a deejay dance party, and Purgatory is the game room, with pool tables and other non-music diversions. Sunday is Swing Night, when young and old groove to the tunes of the Big Band Era. Lessons begin at 8pm.
