This popular coffeehouse (formerly Café Diem) moved not too long ago from Virginia-Highland to this newer spot. Fortunately, the flavor of the original cafe has stayed the same. You can linger here undisturbed over an espresso or glass of wine on comfy couches inside or outdoors on the patio. There's a full bar and live music several nights of the week, but the atmosphere is still laid-back and casual. There are good desserts, a variety of French-style coffee drinks and teas, and an expanded menu if you want something substantial.
