Opened in 1927, this downtown branch of Macy's is a department store in the grand tradition, its main floor featuring 30 lofty Corinthian columns, marble floors, and glittering, crystal chandeliers. However, it's perfectly up-to-date when it comes to merchandise. Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 8pm, and Sunday noon to 6pm.
