SHOPPING: ANTIQUES Frommer
Pride of Dixie Antique Market

This is the newest of the markets, and it is more of a true antique market than a flea market. There are spaces for 600 dealers, who have searched the countryside for fabulous finds. You'll see fine antique furniture as well as interesting primitive painted pieces, heirloom jewelry and silver, antique books, baskets, rugs, linens, roll-top desks, and much more. This market is held inside an air-conditioned building, so weather is not a factor. Open the fourth weekend of each month, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Admission is $4 for the weekend.

At the North Atlanta Trade Center, north of AtlantaTake I-85 north to the Indian Trail exit (about 25 min. from downtown), then follow the signs.Free parking.
