Milagros has gained a following with its great home-style cooking, upbeat atmosphere, and highly touted margaritas. Sit outdoors and watch the parade of Willie Nelson look-alikes ambling by as you tuck into the ahi creation of the evening, a combination of Southwestern and Pacific Rim styles and flavors accompanied by fresh veggies and Kula greens. Blackened ahi taquitos, pepper-crusted ono pasta, blue shrimp tostadas, and sandwiches, salads, and combination plates are some of the offerings here. For breakfast, the Olive Oyl spinach omelet or the huevos rancheros, served with home fries, is recommended. We love Paia's tie-dyes, beads, and hippie flavor, and this is the front-row seat for it all. Watch for happy hour, with its cheap and fabulous margaritas.

Breakfast around $7; lunch $6-$10; dinner $15-$20.Open: Daily 8am-11pm.Credit Cards: DC, MC, V.
