This is one of the best deals in West Maui. Healthy organic ingredients, 90% vegan, appear in scrumptious salads, lasagna, chili, curries, and dozens of tasty dishes, presented at hot-and-cold serve-yourself stations. Stools line the abundant windows in the simple dining area, where a few tables are available for those who don't want takeout. (For all you cyberjunkies, there's Internet access, too.) The food is great, and includes millet cakes, mock tofu chicken, curried tofu, and Greek salad, everything organic and tasty, with herb-tamari marinades and pleasing condiments such as currants or raisins, apples, and cashews. (The tofu curry has apples, raw cashews, and raisins, and is fabulous.) Because the food is sold by the pound, you can buy a hearty, wholesome plate for $7. Vitamin supplements, health food products, fresh produce, and cosmetics fill the rest of the store.
