The Shops at Wailea

This is the big shopping boost that resort-goers have been awaiting for years. Chains still rule (The Gap, Louis Vuitton, Banana Republic, Tiffany, Crazy Shirts, Honolua Surf Co.), but there is still fertile ground for the inveterate shopper in the nearly 60 shops in the complex. Martin & MacArthur (furniture and gift gallery; see Whalers Village above) has landed in Wailea as part of a retail mix that is similar to Whalers Village. The high-end resort shops sell expensive souvenirs, gifts, clothing, and accessories for a life of perpetual vacations.
