This little neighborhood cafe serves baked goods so scrumptious you'll wish the South End were your neighborhood. The soups, salads, breads, and pastries make a reverse commute every day from the original location in suburban Concord. Everything is fresh and delicious, especially the sandwiches -- like ham and cheese with the tasty addition of apple slices -- on incredible artisan breads. You can sit toward the front, where you'll have a view of the street, or closer to the counter, where you can ponder what to order for a snack to eat later.

Most items less than $6.Open: Mon-Fri 7am-6pm; Sat 8am-5pm; Sun 8am-4pm.Credit Cards: MC, V.T: Orange Line to Back Bay.
