Roving servers deliver beef (too many cuts to mention), ham, chicken (the chicken hearts are great, trust me), lamb, and sausage -- more than 15 delectable varieties -- and traditional sides like fried yucca, plantains, and rice until you cannot eat another bite. The food is excellent, the service friendly and generous, and the cavernous room loud -- this is not the place for romance. Instead, it's a fun, festive affair. The terrific salad bar even makes this a good choice for the vegetarians in your party. The ideal accompaniment to the meal is a pitcher of Brazil's signature cocktail, the caipirinha (a margarita-like blend of limes, sugar, crushed ice, and raw sugarcane liquor); Plataforma's are the best in town.
