Jazz Standard

Kudos to the Jazz Standard, where both the food and music meet all expectations. Boasting a sophisticated retro-speakeasy vibe, the Jazz Standard is one of the city's largest jazz clubs, with well-spaced tables seating 150 and a reasonable $15-$25 cover. The rule is straightforward, mainstream jazz by new and established musicians, including such stars as Branford Marsalis. A limited menu from Danny's Meyer's barbecue joint, Blue Smoke located upstairs is available. Jazz, blues, and barbecue; hard to go wrong with that.
