NIGHTLIFE: THE CLUB & MUSIC SCENE Frommer
Chez Son Père

A musical institution in Québec since 1960, this is where French-Canadian folk singers (of both traditional and contemporary folk music) often get their start. The stage is on the second floor, with the usual brick walls and sparse decor. A young, friendly crowd can be found here. The club is a few steps uphill from bustling rue St-Jean.
