NIGHTLIFE: BARS & PUBS

Out Island Bar/The Beach Bar
These bars, both within the same hotel, are used primarily by its guests, but both of them are open to all, attracting everybody from newlyweds to those who married when Eisenhower was in office. The more central of the two is the Out Island Bar, set adjacent to the lobby and outfitted in a breezy wicker and rattan theme that goes well with the party-colored drinks that are its specialty. If you want a view, head for the thatch-covered beach bar, set directly on the sands of one of the best beaches in the area.
