NIGHTLIFE: THE CLUB & MUSIC SCENE Frommer
Century Ballroom

With a beautiful wooden dance floor and a genuine bandstand, this classic ballroom plays host to some of the best touring acts to come to town. This is also Seattle's top spot for swing and salsa dancing, each of which tops the bill a couple of nights per week. The crowd here is very diverse, with customers of all ages who come to check out a schedule that might include an evening of Hawaiian slack-key guitar music or an avant-garde electric violin performance.
