Set on the northeastern end of the row of restaurants that line Grand-Case's main road, this little bistro thrives under the direction of Dutch-born Fleur Radd, and Buffalo, New York-born David Hendricks. The house containing the cafe opens onto views over the sea. Meals are served in an artfully simple dining room outfitted in shades of dark blue and white. Menu items evolve almost every evening -- we've enjoyed chopped lamb with mashed potatoes and an onion-garlic marmalade; snapper in Parmesan-onion crust with tomato-flavored vinaigrette, and chicken breast marinated in lemon grass and ginger, with grilled balsamic-glazed vegetables. There's also salmon in puff pastry with spinach and citrus-dill butter sauce, and fricassee of scallops and shrimp served with Caribbean pineapple chutney.

Main courses 21€-34€.Open: Mon-Sat 6-11pm.Closed Sun Apr-Nov.Reservations recommended.Credit Cards: MC, V.
