Occupying an isolated spot, this is the only true nudist resort in the French West Indies. Established in the late 1970s by a Dutch-born family, and completely rebuilt after its devastation by hurricanes in 1995, it welcomes a European and North American clientele. There's an excellent beach here and a restaurant, the Papagayo, where you can dine alfresco (literally). However, most guests opt to cook their own meals, as each unit has its own kitchenette (there's a mini-market on-site). Accommodations, set in red-pine chalets imported from Finland, are utterly plain and simple; all have outside showers and most have both front and back porches. This is definitely not a wild, swinging, or actively partying kind of place. It's very clean, decent, middle-class, and even family friendly. Very few single guests check in here, so if you're looking for partners to play with, don't be fooled into thinking that this is a good place to meet someone. Despite their lack of clothing, many of the guests here are very conservative--definitely looking for a quiet, reclusive getaway with like-minded nudists. There's no pool on the premises, but the chalets are right on the beach.
