In the commercial center of Marigot (and favored by business travelers for its location), La Résidence's concrete façade is enlivened with neo-Victorian gingerbread fretwork. A bar with a soaring tent serves drinks to guests relaxing on wicker and bentwood furniture. The small bedrooms are arranged around a landscaped central courtyard with a fish-shaped fountain. Each room contains minimalist decor, and all but a few have sleeping lofts and a duplex design of mahogany-trimmed stairs and balustrades. Bathrooms are also small, with shower stalls.
