One of Kyoto's most popular Indian restaurants serves vegetarian and meat curries, including mutton, chicken, fish, vegetable, and shrimp selections, plus tandoori. I started my meal here with mulligatawny Madrasi, a South Indian soup, and followed with Indian bread stuffed with minced meat along with mutton sagwala (mutton and spinach).
Main dishes ¥1,200-¥2,200; set dinners ¥2,500-¥5,800; set lunches ¥600-¥1,300 Mon-Fri, ¥1,300 Sat, Sun, and holidays.
Open: Daily 11:30am-1:30pm and 5-9pm (until 8:30pm Sun and holidays).
Closed third Wed of the month.
