For anything west of these two, your top choice is Eos, a fairly new, highly successful restaurant and wine bar in Cole Valley (near the Haight). Around the corner from the restaurant is this chic, lively wine bar filled mostly with young patrons who dabble among the 400 vintages from around the world.
