Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver

Rotating avant-garde exhibitions by numerous local and national artists are the main attraction at this downtown museum. Temporary exhibits in the two floors of exhibition space rotate every 5 months. Exhibits and events in 2001 and 2002 included "Reel Love," an experimental film series; "Archipelago: An Intimate Immensity," a collaborative multimedia installation that raised questions about scale, intimacy, and territoriality; and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: A Spaghetti Western," a collection of uncommon works in uncommon media. Allow at least 1 hour.
